These speakers are wonderful and it&amp;amp;#039;s all we can do to get the word out.    Regarding Rails, just thought I&amp;amp;#039;d mention that FreshBooks is actually a PHP shop :)  Further to that, everyone speaking has been asked to take an agnostic approach to the material so the audience can gleen universal lessons, and while a handful of these folks come from the Rails community (Ezra and Ryan especially), they&amp;amp;#039;ve both agreed there is more value in keeping the presentations accessible to all attendees and thereby *not* too platform specific.  No doubt they will draw on their own experience, but not to the point of alientating folks.  In the case of Pete (and Unspace is surely a Rails shop), he&amp;amp;#039;s actually talking iphone development so it will be very iphone platform specific, but in the case of that presentation it was sort of the idea.
