David Crow: I’m not an evangelist, I’m an arms dealer

We've been building on the Microsoft platform for years and the first version on our product was all built in .Net but we switched to a Java environment for V2 last summer.

A big reason for our switching was being able to leverage services like Amazon's EC2. We just couldn't easily & cost effectively offer a SaaS platform if we stayed on the windows platform.

For licensed software we also started coming up against more and more prospects who just couldn't deal with us as they weren't allowed to run MS servers internally.

I am currently rebuilding my site, CastRoller.com in .NET

I am hosting the new version with IWeb.ca, I was able to get a very good deal on a Dedicated box so was able to install .net 3.5 on it it.

I've already filled out your form, please contact me if you have any questions about my site.

The MVC framemwork will help you with the webstandards part. You won't have to deal with older server controls.

Good luck. Need a study Buddy? I need to learn MVC as well.

We're using <a href="http://Lunarpages.com" Lunarpages.com">target="_blank">Lunarpages.com for our .NET Facebook Projects. Never needed to contact support so I can't comment on that but they do have a good connection to Facebook.
